The La MaMa Archive regularly conducts tours for theatre students, researchers, scholars, and other groups from all over the world. In January, we were excited to host a group from the John Paul II Friendship Center, of the Polish and Slavic Center, for a curated tour with the Director of Archives, Ozzie Rodriguez.
Today, they shared their visit with a wider audience in the Spring 2024 edition of the journal “Echo Polonijne.” This article appears both in Polish and English. It shares a glimpse of what it is like to visit the Archive. The piece also emphasizes the many collaborations (past, present, and future) that La MaMa ETC has with artists from Poland.
From the earliest days of La MaMa, there has been a focus on building a global community of artists.
